Job Brief

We provide the opportunity for university undergraduates to build on what they have learnt in school while making meaningful contributions in a real work environment. In this position, you will prepare architectural plans, sections, elevations, details, and presentation materials, as well as, other drafting tasks under the supervision of a Project Architect(s). This is a contract-based position that can be modified based on performance. Working hours are flexible and designed to be convenient.

Requirements

  • A 400- or 300-level undergraduate student of Architecture or related built environment discipline with an interest in the design and construction of projects.
  • Basic knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit Architecture and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn new concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate constructively and effectively with other people.
  • Be capable of meeting strict deadlines, producing quality work and managing competing priorities.
